Grant Application
The Schlink Foundation grant application form can be downloaded from our website. Accompanying the application the applicant should include a narrative of 2 pages or less containing the following information:
- Summary of the purpose of the project for which the funding is being requested.
- Who will this project benefit and in what ways?
- How will the requested grant funds be used to assist or complete the project for which the funding is requested?
- How will the total cost of the project be funded?
- Are other sources of funding needed to fully fund the project? If so, what is the status of the additional funding and what are its sources.
- If this grant is part of matching funds for another grant, please explain the terms of the matching grant.
- If your grant is totally funded and the project is ongoing, how will it be supported and funded in the future?
Requirements
- 1. 501(c)(3) IRS determination letter. If your organization is a church, governmental or other entity covered by a group exemption, provide a copy of the group exemption letter and documentation of your inclusion within the group.
- Current Form 990 or if your organization does not file Form 990, your organization’s most recent financial statement, and annual budget.
- Mission Statement
- List of Board Members
Your Submission
Please submit only the requested information. If the board has questions, a member of the board will contact you. Additional information submitted as part of your grant application will not be considered. Please do not bind the pages of your application other than with a staple nor place the application in a folder or jacket. Extensive and voluminous supporting data will not be reviewed or considered. PLEASE BE BRIEF.
